- How to install VDSL on a Raw Copper line
I want to install the modem close to the NTP
1. Make sure NTP 2007 is installed at the entry point in your house/apartment.
2. Connect your modem/router to the NTP with a DSL/internet cable.
- Insert the cable into the DSL/WAN port on the modem/router.
- Insert the free end of the cable into the free port on the NTP.

3. Connect the power supply unit of your modem/router to the port on your modem/router labeled “POWER” or “PWR”.

4. Plug the other end of the power supply into an AC power outlet.
5. Check if the DSL LED starts flashing.
| NOTE! In case your VDSL signal is already activated, after some minutes the DSL LED should become stable. It means your modem/router is now receiving the VDSL signal. |

I want to install the modem on another phone socket
1. Make sure NTP 2007 is installed at the entry point in your house/apartment.
2. Connect your other phone socket to the blue connector inside the NTP by means of a separate cable used only for a modem/router connection. This is an ordinary phone cable (a VVT-cable or a less preferable UTP-cable) that can be bought at any electrical shop.

3. Install a VDSL2-splitter on all your phone sockets including the NTP.

4. Connect your modem/router to the phone socket with a DSL/internet cable.
- Insert the cable into the DSL/WAN port on the modem/router.
- Insert the free end of the cable into the free port on the phone socket or a splitter.
